Edyta is a specialist with over 17 years’ experience of corporate work, especially M&A and commercial transactions.
She led a team of lawyers advising the Swedish company Elekta AB on its expansion into the Polish market through the acquisition of RTA – a Polish distributor of advanced technologies for medicine.
Edyta advised Resource Partners (a private equity fund) on the acquisition of Chojecki (confectionery industry). This was the third transaction for Resource Partners led by Edyta: in 2013 she advised on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Cuprod (Kluczbork, confectionery industry), and prior to that, on the acquisition of a majority stake in CM Mavit (medical services).
During the past year, Edyta has led several transactions for international and domestic clients, including for Orange Polska (sale of call center) and for a Baltic financial institution. Previously Edyta advised Orange Polska on the acquisition of Datacom System. She has also advised AstraZeneca in relation to the Polish part of a multi-jurisdictional disposal of AstraTech to Dentspy International.
She also coordinated the work of teams of numerous lawyers during the due diligence investigations of Polish companies as per instructions from Polish and foreign investors, including due diligence related to groups of companies.
